Pursuant to an order passed by the Honorable W. B. Sloan, a referee in bankruptcy for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the undersigned, as trustee, will sell at public outcry, upon the premises, near the town of Maysville, Ga., on May 6th, 1913, between 11 o’clock a.m. and 4 o’clock p.m., assets of Howell D. Watkins, consisting of the following described real estate located in Jackson County, Georgia: Parcel No. 1. That tract or parcel of land, lying in Jackson County, Georgia, on waters of North Oconee River, beginning at a rock corner on the Gainesville Road, running east 26 rods to a rock corner; thence southeast 24 rods to an ash corner on a branch; thence down said branch 78 rods to 2nd ford to poplar corner; thence south up a branch 107 rods to an ash corner; thence southwest 12 rods to a post oak corner; thence west 98 rods to a rock corner; thence northwest 12 rods to a rock corner on the Gainesville Road; thence 51 rods up said road to beginning corner, containing fifty and one-half (50 ½) acres, more or less, and being the same property conveyed to H. D. Watkins by E. L. Newton, Adm’r. W. H. Newton, by quitclaim deed, dated 19th day of January, 1894, recorded in Book CC page 389, 8th day of February, 1899, records clerk superior court Jackson County, Georgia, subject to lease between W. F. Morris and H. A. Ferris, receivers, and H. D. Watkins, dated December 16, 1912, for one year from January 1st, 1913. Parcel No. 2. All bankrupt’s interest being a one-half (1/2) undivided interest in a tract of land lying in Miller’s District of Jackson County Georgia, about fourteen miles southeast of Gainesville, Georgia, containing eighty-three (83) acres of land, more or less, lying on waters of Pond Fork River, bounded north by lands of the estate of L. T. Watkins, deceased; east by lands of Reuben Welchel; south by lands of J. M. Blackstock; and west by J. C. Hancock, and known as the home place of Minor P. Gilbert. Parcel No. 3. All bankrupt’s interest being a one-half (1/2) undivided interest in a tract of land lying in Miller’s District of Jackson County Georgia, about fourteen miles southeast of Gainesville, Ga., containing seventy-three (73) acres, more or less, lying about one-half (1/2) mile west of tract described in parcel 2 above, bounded north and west by lands of Jno. P. Lipscomb, east by lands of Minor P. Gilbert, and on the south by B. F. Erwin. Parcels No.s 2 and 3, being part of the same property conveyed to H. D. Watkins by British & American Mortgage Company, Limited, by deed dated 29th day of November, 1908, and recorded January 26, 1909, in Book NN, page 233, records clerk superior court of Jackson County Georgia. Together with all improvements situated on any and all of said before described tracts and parcels of land. Terms of Sale: To be one-third (1/3) cash, payable on confirmation, the balance in two equal installments on or before six (6) and twelve (12) months from sale. All bids to be subject to acceptance or rejection by the court. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check for 10 percent of bid.
