All Jackson County schools with the exception of Maysville will open Monday, Aug. 31, County School Superintendent Frary Elrod announced this week. Maysville will open one week late, on Sept. 7, Mr. Elrod said. Classes will be conducted in the partitioned gymnasium. The school building was destroyed by fire recently.
