Survivors include
his wife of 52 years, Joanne Wingfield Miller; four children, Steven
Miller, Grayson, Marianne Clack and Robert Miller, both of Eatonton, Susan
Roper, Monticello; 18 grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Frances
Wingfield, Martinez. Memorial services were held Monday, March 14, at the
First Baptist Church of Eatonton. Memorial contributions may be made to
the First Baptist Church of Eatonton, Elevator Fund, 115 N. Madison Ave.,
Eatonton, Ga. 31024. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel of Eatonton was in charge of
arrangements.
Milva Cook
Survivors include
a son, Jim Cook, Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Betty Wilkerson, Atlanta; four
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held
Tuesday, February 22, at the Sunrise Cemetery, Maysville, with the Rev.
Brian Stowe officiating. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge
of arrangements.
Julius Baugh
Survivors include
a son, Andy Baugh, Alexander City, Ala.; daughter, Linda Boswell,
Maysville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Graveside
funeral services were held Wednesday, February 16, at the Jackson Memorial
Park with the Rev. Ralph Smith officiating.. Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce,
was in charge of arrangements.
Wilma Cochran
Survivors include
her husband, Wilmer (Buck) Cochran, Maysville; a son, Lamar Cochran,
Maysville; a daughter, Barbara Freeman, Nicholson; brothers, Billy
Patrick, Alford Patrick, Robert Patrick, Roy Patrick, Waymon Patrick,
David Patrick, Edward Patrick and Roger Patrick; sisters, Johnnie Sue Hill
and Annie Ray Cartledge; grandchildren, Courtney Kidd and Chase Smallwood;
a great-granddaughter, Katelyn Kidd; and nieces and nephews. Funeral
services were held in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home Saturday, February
12, with the Revs. Troy Herbert and Eddie Gordon officiating. Burial was
in the Grove Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce,
was in charge of arrangements.
'Nell’ Mintz
Survivors include
two daughters and sons-in-law, Floy Evelyn and Arthur Glore,
Milledgeville, and Avis Maxine and Charles R. (Chuck) Jones, Maysville; a
sister, Adelle Mize, Margate, Fla.; four grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces
and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 10, at 2
p.m. at the Grove Level Baptist Church with the Revs. Jeff Appling and
Kelly Woodall officiating. Burial will be in the Anderson-Mintz family
cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1:30 until the funeral hour.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grove Level Baptist Church. The
family will receive friends in the funeral home Wednesday, February 9,
from 6 to 9 p.m. Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of
