Charles "Charlie" Howard Short (1881-1952) was the son of George Lumpkin Short and Etherlinda Letitia Crisler Short.  He was the father of Lewis Short and grandfather of Betty Short Brooks. Maggie Short with daughters Ruth (left) and Mildred (center).  Margaret "Maggie" Suddath Short (1878-1950) was the wife of Charlie Short and daughter of Lafayette "Fate" Suddath and Sarah Ann Parks Suddath. Contributed by Betty Short Brooks	Retha Fitts Short and Keff Short (1901-1964).  Keff was the son of Dooly Short, grandson of George Lumpkin Short, and great-grandson of Archibald Short.
