John Young Williams (1817-1892), of Madison County, Georgia, father of Harmon Williams and grandfather of Thurston Williams and great-grandfather of Louise Williams Short and great-great-grandfather of Betty Short Brooks of Maysville.

John Young Williams (1817-1892) and daughter,  Minta Ann Williams Wright (1845-1940).  Minta "Minty" Williams was married to Pryor Wright.

Need to verify that the man is John Young Williams and not Harmon Williams or Pryor Wright.

Harmon A. Williams (1861-1947) was the youngest child of John Young Williams and Sarah Ann Strickland.

Thurston Williams lived on the Maysville-Commerce Road.  Thurston Williams Road and Williams Estate Road are named for him.
