 The town of Maysville is split by the Banks and Jackson County line.  It's important to note when researching Maysville records that Banks County was created from Franklin County in 1858.  If researching subject matter prior to 1858, it would be important to check Franklin County records as well.  Probate court usually handles probating estates, birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses and other vital records.
